Photgraphy, travel and love stories.These are three things I love above all others.When an artist combines all three of these aspects, I find myself captived.
Today I discovered the work of Murad Osmann.When Murad and his girlfriend travel, they capture their story and adventures in photos. They avoid the typical cheesy tourists shots.As a Mashable article explains "Osmann uses his Instagram account to post photos of his girlfriend leading him, by the hand, through gorgeous landmarks across the world. Some notable spots include London, Singapore, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Bali." This photo series (appropriately entitled "Follow Me") started innocently enough. As Osmann explains "The first photo happened in Barcelona while we were on vacation. My girlfriend was a bit annoyed that I was always taking pictures of everything, so she grabbed my hand and tried to pull me forward. But it didn't stop me from doing photos," (Mashable, 2013).
Photography tells a story. What is alluring about the tale this photo series tells is that it is continuous.Osmann leaves viewers wanting to know more. Looking through these photos, I kept thinking "What is their story? Where did they meet? What lead to their passion to travel? Tell me more!!!"
